Software Development Intern
Learning-Focused • Unpaid
An unpaid internship with flexible hours, designed for students who genuinely want to learn. You'll work directly alongside the founding team, contributing to our platform POC.
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing a degree (any discipline—you don't need to be CS)
- Some coding experience—this can't be your first time writing code
- Genuinely curious about AI, startups, and building products
- Comfortable in an unstructured, fast-moving environment

Founding Engineer
Equity-Based • Senior
Join as a founding engineer and own a meaningful piece of what we're building. This is an equity-based role for experienced engineers who believe in the mission and want to shape the product and company from day one.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong with Python, TypeScript, or both
- Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, or agent frameworks is a plus
- Willing to work for equity in exchange for ownership
What You'll Get

- Shape the technical architecture from scratch

Forward Deployed Engineer
Equity-Based • Senior • "Special Ops"
Our "Special Forces" R&D role. You won't just deploy Lane—you'll build the product alongside enterprise customers, writing production-grade code to solve problems too complex to solve remotely. Think: Startup CTO for each strategic deployment.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of software engineering—you could work on core product, but you thrive at the edge
- Strong with Python, TypeScript, and AI/LLM frameworks—you write production code, not demos
- Can architect solutions on-site when the platform doesn't do what the customer needs
- Comfortable embedded with customers—you're their technical co-founder, not a support ticket
What You'll Do
- Invent new platform capabilities when customers hit limits—your code ships to production
- Integrate Lane with enterprise systems, internal APIs, and private data
- Re-architect on-site when something doesn't work—you don't escalate, you solve
- Shape the product roadmap based on what you learn in the field
What You'll Work With
